Bible Study of STIC

Bible-StudyHi and welcome to the Supernatural Truth in Christ site’s Bible Study page! To find topics covered hover over the Supernatural Truth in Christ menu above, or use the links provided below.

To quote Pontius Pilate, “What is truth?” No matter whether or not anybody agrees with me on any of these posts and pages, it’s most important to get into the Word and find what the Holy Spirit wants you to know or learn about for yourself. I pray that any of these articles will at the very least, drive somebody back into the Word of God!

Bible Study Inspiration

First off, I’d like to explain the title and go over the point behind this site. The title Supernatural Truth in Christ is to point out specifically the supernatural origins, acts, and other truths found both in the Bible and also in the world today through the lens of the Holy Spirit of God, which only comes in Christ Jesus.

Become Acquainted with the Word

In my mind, there’s nothing much more important in our Christian walk than to have a good handle on the Word of God. In many of these Bible Study topics, you’ll find that much of the content was introduced by the Holy Ghost through prayerfully and slowly chewing on the meat of the Word. Even in so called “Milk” type verses, there are sideline discoveries to be made that when realized, have a tendency to bless the socks off of you!

Why Use the King James?

All scripture given, copied, and mentioned in all of these Bible Studies will be from the King James Bible. As far as what I’ve experienced, the King James version of the Word of God has the sharpest teeth. I also find this particular version the most trustworthy.

So join us in these studies and let us know your thoughts on them. Each have the comments section left open and available, but I do moderate them to avoid those dastardly spam auto messages, but I strive in answering any comments as quickly as I can. Below are a list of the different Bible Study pages available under this section so far.  I am very open to suggestions, so if you’d like to, shoot me a comment or an e-mail and feel free to bounce a few ideas off of me.

Much more to come as time progresses and how the Spirit leads.

Proverbs Daily Devotionals

The Proverbs Daily Devotionals section has dwarfed this Section of Bible Studies. The devotionals start at Proverbs chapter one verse one, and go verse by verse, or every couple of verses. Whichever keeps the best context.

There are approximately 500 different devotionals from Proverbs covered in that section, so please add it to your arsenal of Bible Study Tools here at the STIC website. You can get to the Daily Devotionals section by pressing the link below:

Have an Idea for a Bible Study Topic?

Many other topics will be coming in time to be added to this section, so give us a bookmark & check back here often! Don’t forget that many of the blog posts found on the Home page are other Bible Study resources as well. The category section that is found in the sidebar may aid you in navigating through the blog post topics, but keep in mind that often, I do several parts to one topic, so you may have to scroll down all the way to start at part one of a broken up series of posts. Yeah I know, it’s kind of annoying, but I’ve not yet figured out how to make it how I want it to be.

Bible StudiesThanks for checking out this page and I pray that the studies you’ve chosen to read and check against the solidity of the Word of God blesses you richly in Christ. If you’ve found this to be a useful site, then please feel free to share it via your favorite social media outlets by either the link below or that big plus sign to the right hand side of the screen, and help us out to keep this site’s heart pumping with fresh readers and beneficiaries of any of the studies that you find most helpful. As I said above, I’m open to any suggestions, so either leave it as a comment or send me an e-mail.

Thank you again for taking your time to explore the Bible Study section!

    • Hi there Leila,
I believe that using either the Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost is fine. You do find however that the words Holy Spirit is used more in the Old Testament and the Holy Ghost is used more in the New. That said, the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit are one in the same, being the Spirit of the Living God. The Spirit of Truth!!! If it were offensive in any way, I’m sure the Lord would have made it perfectly clear in his Word.

Thanks for the question and also for the kind words. May the Lord bless you mightily in the name of Jesus.

  1. Very intresting informative site , full of relevant content.
I especially like the evangelical feel about the site and personally speaking feel we need more sites like this , especially in todays present climate and the atrocieties happening all over the world in the name of religon.

    • Hi Danny, thank you for your comment! Yeah, atrocities are quite often done in the name of religion. As far as Christianity (as a religion) goes there is no exception. Thus the danger of not knowing what God has to say about things and just going along with the doctrines of men. There’s a big difference between a religion and relationship with the Lord, and I wrote a page on it that you could check out if you’d like HERE.

Thanks again and God bless you!

  2. Rebuking the Wind and See
I enjoyed reading your pages please continue adding more information. in my spirit i just feel there is something missing but I am sure the Holy Spirit will let you know, just go over it again. maybe by going over ask yourself if a broken spirit came to your page what would he want to read. all you need to do is to correct the SEE to SEA
God Bless You and thank you

  3. AAAAAH!! Good grief LOL. Thank you very much for that(just fixed it btw), and I will certainly take your advice in upcoming posts & pages.

  4. When you state that you will elaborate on “salvation” , from what angel will you address this subject matter? This is a subject matter is one which different denomination seem to look at quite differently. I would be interested in what constitute salvation? Salvation is also in my opinion the foundation and would be greatly appreciate if you share your theory.

    • Hi there Anewcreature,

If you check out the Revelation of Salvation – I Want to be Saved page I have explained a bit of what you’re looking for there. However, I don’t believe that we are to address any angel for anything at any time. Salvation is available to us through the finished works of Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John 14: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. No angles involved at all with the matter of our eternal well being.

As with anything else that will be posted on this site (by me anyways) my thoughts are brought to you by a Biblical standpoint, or through a Biblical worldview. Actually, for a great intro to what Jesus has planned for us, John chapter 14 is amazing, and I highly recommend reading it over and over, it’s truly a blessing and one of my most favorite chapters in the Bible.

Thank you for your comment and God bless you!

      • Just had a thought…. If you meant angle, please refer to the link. Biblical angle meaning through Christ and Christ alone. I apologize for the previous comment if I misunderstood. However there are many people who do pray to or worship angels, which is why I went there.
        God Bless

  6. Hello Brian, this is a subject close to my heart & I have bookmarked your site for future reference, I personally believe we are living in very interesting times. The Lords words are coming true right in front of our eyes.

I’d personally like to see you cover the whole Creation/Evolution debate, I find it fascinating.

Good luck with the website, I shall be checking back regularly, God Bless.

    • Hi Jay,

Thank you for your comment, the bookmark, and all the kind words! And we are indeed living in very interesting times, all the more reason to get the message of the Cross out to the people of the world as fast and as often as we can (however we can). The creation vs. evolution debate!?! I’ll call it God’s Handiwork vs. From Goo to You by way of the Zoo. lol. May take a bit to gather the arguements but I’ll get to work on it.

  7. I like your site, you do stand up for the word of God. that in itself is rare these days. We are in a time that the word of God needs to go out in truth. Certainly God is love, but he also has discipline and that seems to be missing in a lot of churches today. I am a retired Pastor and i find your site very good. i would recommend anybody to go there. Keep in touch God Bless Cyril Almond

    • Hi Cyril,

Thank you for the comment, the kind words and encouragement! When I think of some of the things I’ve heard coming from the church recently, it seems that the “pick and choose” gospel is on the up-rise to target the lukewarm at heart. Laodicean Church anyone??? Jesus said to keep his words, and I am a firm believer as I am sure you are that he meant all of them whether we like it or not.

      John 14:23+24

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

Thanks again and God bless you!
