Daily Inspiration from These Verses
Trust in the Lord… It’s easy right? Well, at least it’s easy to say. Why is it so important to trust in the Father?
Well the most obvious reason would be; because he will always know better than us in every way for everything. He is God after all. This reason should go without saying.
But there is another reason that we tend to ignore, as we traverse through this life. That reason could be better expressed in the form of the following question.
If you’re not placing your trust in God Almighty, who or what are you placing your trust in? Is it yourself, someone else? Is it in finances, a steady job, your education, parents, friends, stuff? If the Father isn’t the recipient of our trust, who or what is?
I’ll tell you, and it may sound extreme, but so what. When we take our trust off of the Father, we’re placing it as a yoke upon the Enemy of God. Removing it from God Almighty and investing it into the god of this world.
With all our hearts, is the degree we’re to place our trust squarely on the Shoulders of the Lord. It’s not fertilizer that we should be spreading around. He is the only source of all things that there is. I told you it would seem extreme, but don’t we serve an extreme God?
There are no others, nor will we find a more sure foundation than what we’ve been given to stand on, which is the Rock of our Salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ. Placing our trust anywhere else is sinking sand.
Not even our own understanding should be trusted. But rather, go by that which the Holy Ghost provides us, as he leads us every day should we be found placing trust where it counts, which is in the Lord.

Prayer – Trust in the Lord
Forgive us for every instance that we’ve placed our trust anywhere else but on you. You are faithful, worthy, and capable to handle every shred of trust that our hearts can muster. Please help us to always place our trust in you, and to recognize the difference between our understanding, and your understanding, and cause for us to forsake our own, and cling to yours.
In Jesus precious name we pray.
Do you place all of your trust in the Lord?
