Different Gospels III – Dissecting a Cult can be tricky at times, because the art of deception has turned into an art form. If you do not have a firm grip on the Word of God, then you’re in danger of falling into a Satanic trap. Just like any trap, they’re useless without being well hidden or disguised.
2 Corinthians 2:
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Deception with a Warm Smile
In this post, I’d like to share a video with you that is produced by “The Church of Almighty God.” Their paraphernalia can be viewed by anyone at the website called Holyspiritspeaks.org. Please note the Christianeese being used in the “Ministry’s” name and site name. They even will let us know that they believe that the Bible is absolutely true, and won’t change.
Well, they’re right as far as that’s concerned, and that’s why they need to change what people think is between the covers of the Word of God. This post is my reaction to one of several conversations that I’ve had with members of this group that seems to be gaining traction in Asia, and across the internet.
Pay Close Attention
Please beware the danger of lightly listening to what they’re saying in this video. There’s no curse
attached or anything like that. Now that I think about it, the ones that need to worry about that would be the people promoting this as gospel. But the danger rests inside the subtly of what is being said here. As scripture says…
2 Corinthians 11:
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Also, this video has been dubbed over, thus making it a bit less authentic sounding than it would in the original format. Underneath this video, will be my breakdown of the many ways that this simple and warm video is gently leading people to believe a lie that, in the end, will either shock you, or cause for you to lift up your head, because your redeemer draws nigh! In the breakdown section, I will refer to the time-stamp of the video that I’m making reference.
Breaking Down a Cult’s Deception
- First 30 seconds, a threat for not believing what they’re about to teach.
- 1:56 there is no such thing as a second incarnation. That’s a lie of eastern mysticism mixing into Christianity.
- 2:36 They added lies saying that scripture said something that it doesn’t. He added, “But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.” He said that as an amendment to what we can find in Matthew 24:
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. The next immediate verse is 28 For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
He’s already done the suffering 2,000 years ago, but to further their cause and to justify their particular belief, they need to bring the Lord back to earth, before he returns to rule and reign.
- 2:45 They are butchering what is meant behind the Son of Man. They don’t realize the difference between the Son of man and a son of man. Again, he’s called the Son of man because he was born into this world through Mary 2,000 years ago, and is every bit a man today as he was then. Same body, just glorified.
He left his flesh once, while still up on the cross. He returned to that same exact body and split! The tomb was empty three days from his death, because he hopped back in and took off! He did not need a new body of flesh to return at all.
- 3:30 “He will become flesh again?”Just to reiterate, he will come back as he is right now, (which would be glorified) as he awaits beside the Father. There’s no re-jumping into someone’s body, and he’s not going to be birthed from another woman, and go through all the motions of becoming as we are yet again!
In fact, those of us who are sealed with the seal of the Holy Spirit of promise, will become as HE is. They are trying to say that HE will become as WE are.
1 John 3:
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Satan loves to take scripture and reverse it. And that’s what is going on here. I’d also go so far as saying that they are describing the Anti-Christ, as he is the one that will become as we are. A scriptural role reversal. God has something to say about that:
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
- 3:32 “In the last days, he would become flesh again.” The Bible says that nowhere, and if you have one that does, throw it out and get a KJV! This would be a lie from Satan himself, promoting the ill advised belief of re-incarnation.
- 3:48 Jesus is not coming back to be persecuted. That’s a done deal, and he is the once and for all sacrificial lamb. He has already entered into heaven as the Lamb who was slain, and is returning as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
- 4:50 “The judgement work of the Lord is to make over-comers.” They are talking about Jesus being re-incarnated during these end times, to do “judgement work” against the House of God. They are taking scripture here, and making it an end time judgement, instead of an all time principal.
1 Peter 4:
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Peter wrote that “the time IS COME,” not the time WILL or SHALL come. That time began in Peter’s day, it’s not penned in for the end times scenario. It’s a staple of Biblical reality for all who came before us and those of us who are called by his name today. A classic example of taking a piece of scripture and changing it’s context.

I’m done at five minutes!
Even as I write this, I can’t take it anymore. The twisting of scripture is just painful to hear, as its being taken seriously. Last thing I heard before shutting it off was, “And he shall judge among the nations and rebuke many people. Saying with a loud voice, ‘fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgement is come.”
For me, that took the cake!!! I couldn’t take it anymore. Now that I’ve heard it, I feel a responsibility why it’s so wrong…. /head in hands….
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
In the Revelation 2:26-29, this is Jesus talking about AFTER the Judgement. He is talking about his millennial reign. This isn’t a pre-Daniel’s 70th week period, but post. It has nothing to do with the end times, but is the plan given for the new times. But this group would place it as meaning right now, because after he loosely made reference to these scriptures, he constructed another verse to come after these (as far as a time frame goes). Here’s that other scripture.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
This piece of scripture is making reference to a period of time that falls inside Daniel’s 70th week! So to make sense of what they are doing here, they are trying to say that Jesus will be reigning on the earth before this particular end time event. Seems that we’ve taken this road before, remember the Isaiah 5:20 reference up above?
Messing around with the Word of God is a perilous game to play. It will not end well at all for anyone who propagates a different gospel than what’s found in the Bible. And this is true with a clear warning when it comes to fooling around with the Book of Revelation.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Remember when I said that this video would either shock you or cause for you to lift up your head, because your redemption draweth nigh? Well, if you’re shocked, it shouldn’t be because these kinds of deceptions are out there. We’ve been promised that they’d be around, and shouldn’t be surprised by it.
What should shock you is the stealth and calmness they display as they butcher the Word of God, yet giving a form of knowing what they’re talking about. How many Christians I wonder (since we are their target audience), that haven’t taken the time to gain a working knowledge of the Word of God, have fallen for this group?
It’s reasons like this, twisting the word of God, that I encourage everyone to get into the Word of God for themselves, even if I’ve quoted directly from scripture! You’ll catch me saying that peppered all over this website, and also through any books I’ve published. Let God be true and all men a liar.
Lift up your Head!
The reason I said that maybe you’ll lift up your head, is because this group believes that Jesus is on earth right now a a new incarnation today as we speak! They believe that Jesus is back, on the earth, dealing “New” revelation, and residing in China. Here’s the happy part!
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
As we watch all the world events unfold; signs in the moon, in the stars, in the sun, with the weather, politically, spiritually, everywhere, and now false Jesus’ popping up everywhere, I like to think of this to remedy the frustrations of it all…
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Yes indeed! I believe that we are living in the days where all of the end times events are unfolding right before our eyes! These are exciting times indeed! Even so, it is all the more important to get to know exactly what the Lord has preserved in his Word, so that we’re not caught being deceived for lack of knowledge. I think we all know that verse…
