Daily Inspiration from These Verses – Easily Understood
I wish everything was easily understood, don’t you? Things would be much easier to deal with if everything could be understood on demand. But, that’s just not the way it is for many of us (well, at least that’s not the way things work for me).
However, we are extremely fortunate, because where we lack understanding, the Holy Ghost is there to fill the void, as it may relate to the Father’s will over your life. This would include what he wants you to understand from his Word, and understanding into how to apply it to your life.
In cometh the scorner. Scorners already know it all, and doesn’t think that the Father has any answers for them. In fact, they’ll think that there is no wrong, picking themselves up, and making themselves their own personal god.
Or, they choose to believe lies and begin professing lies as truth and fact. The very thought that there might just be an all powerful, all mighty God out there, isn’t just absurd and small minded. Often this notion is considered by scorners as backwards, or primitive thinking compared to their own idea of how things came to be, and how things are.
Left to their own devices, they will never truly have a firm understanding of scripture. They will never gain insight into the One True God, they will never listen for one moment, that they could be wrong. Only by virtue of divine intervention, will the deception that is blinding their eyes, and polluting their hearts, give way for enough truth to be understood in order to make salvation available to them.
Personally, I believe that this happens to everyone at some point in their lives. For some, maybe it’s happened several, who knows? But I know this. The Father is loving and patient enough, to give everyone a fair shot to be with him in paradise for all eternity.
Even though he foreknows every single person that will refuse in their own foolishness, he still wants them to have that chance. He is a just and loving Father, and wills for nobody to suffer or perish. That’s why he made salvation so easy to take hold of. Because were it any more difficult, or even worse, if he left it up to us, we’d all be doomed.
Thanks be to God, Christ Jesus did all the work, save only making the decision to believe it for us. That’s the only thing that Jesus didn’t take care of, our decision making.
But those who are saved, gives the Lord the time of day, seeks his face, and is harboring the Holy Ghost in their hearts… Those will have their understanding into scripture opened up as they search through the pages.
Knowledge comes easy with understanding, but the knowledge of God Almighty is made plain to us, through the gift of understanding into spiritual matters, given by the Holy Ghost.

Thank you for your precious gift, being the Holy Ghost. Thank you for the Comforter, and especially the sacrifice you made, that appointed day on the cross. Thank you Father for all of these things, and we pray, that you open the eyes of our understanding, and cause for us to gain a greater understanding into your wisdom, and into all spiritual things that you’d have us to know through your Word. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
