Not of this World - Petra - Supernatural Truth in Christ

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Since finding Christ and having made the decision to follow him and receive him with all of your heart, have you ever felt like you don’t fit in with the general world around you? If so, congratulations! You are not of this world, which is good news for you! Sure, it may not feel like good news, but it is.

This song talks about a serious Supernatural Truth in Christ that we need to be reminded of all the time. It’s a great song by Petra (may be considered Classic Petra due to when this song was recorded) which I’d highly recommend watching. Not only because it’s a great song, but this video has the lyrics playing out with the song, so you can really get the feel for what they’re saying.

If anyone reading this isn’t familiar with the group Petra, I’ll have you know that they’ve made all kinds of different styles of songs since the 70’s, and pumped their way all through the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s. With more than a positive message, I’d almost consider each song a different sermon. They’re a great band and have blessed me countless times throughout the years. It’s no wonder since I think each song is grounded in scripture.
