Present and Future of the U.S.

This video got me to thinking for awhile about this country (the U.S.) and where it falls within Biblical prophecy. There are a few places that people say that the Bible refers to the U.S. in a vague manner, but nothing pointing to anything as eventful as it seems it should, due to our strength in the world at large. At least that’s what we’re lead to believe.

Is the United States going to wind up having a sideline position as prophecy unfolds? Just sitting on the bench while many other countries are at play? As the most heavy hitting prophetic end time events transpire as the world focuses against Israel, something major must take place first in the United States.

Why would I come to that conclusion? Because despite who’s in office, we’ve enjoyed a layer of protection against my covenant will I establish with Isaacenemies abroad, God’s grace given to this country as we’ve stood by Israel over the years. However, Biblically, we’re not going to play any hand at all in an effort to protect Israel from the surrounding countries that will attempt to wipe it off the face of the earth.

At best, we’ll be on the side watching it all happen and asking, “Hey everyone, are you doing this for spoils?” (to paraphrase the Word). Something drastic will happen (actually has been happening for several years) between the U.S. and Israeli relations that will cause for us to be unwilling to come to their aid.

Genesis 12

12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

As Abraham wound up with Ishmael through the servant Hagar, but the the Lord made a specific declaration to Abram (Abraham), concerning who he would establish his everlasting covenant with. And that is their future son in Isaac.

Genesis 17

19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

The reason I go into all of that is to point out that for many years now, we’ve enjoyed the blessing side of God’s covenant with Abraham. But now, we are slowly backing away from Israel as the world is shifting it’s focus against it, becoming more supportive or aligned with Israel’s enemies. So where does that leave us in the United States if we back away from Israel, or turn to become a hindrance? Remember, the Lord keeps his promises for his own name’s sake, not because Israel does everything right.

When we scale back and allow things to start to happen to Israel, being a fair weather friend, an absent ally, or even an enemy of Israel, the protective covering is removed. God will curse those who curse Israel. We can see it happening now. Tell me, is it by chance that all of the countries that we’ve had consistent problems with either have acquired or have access to nuclear technology?

Not an accident at all, but as time wears away, the prophetic utterances of men such as Dumitru Duduman and Dave Wilkerson start becoming more and more possible. Stronger than possible but even probable. If you are unfamiliar with either of these men just do a search on Google or YouTube to see what they have to say. There are men out there that have done the research and have coupled with astonishing accuracy our treatment of Israel with extreme natural disasters. And that’s just when we’ve partaken in some unsavory actions.

I would anticipate that the day we actually stand against Israel in a meaningful way, is the day that the enemies of the United States will be set free against us in two ways, one leading to the other. First spiritually, having no hand of the Lord in the way to stop the spiritual powers at play. Those being princes and spiritual wickedness in high places that are the dark powers behind the scenes, prompting whatever nations they occupy to do whatever they want. Don’t ever forget who runs this world system.End time scenario

Second will be the physical response. War, destruction and death against a country that will be beaten into stagnation. How many people out there will be caught completely off guard because they’ve not been willing to pay attention? How many people out there in this nation will suffer the consequences of being wrapped up in their own little world, not noticing the things that are going on all around them?

There are some out there that believe that the Lord will protect us from a coming onslaught, but at the rate things are going I tend to think that won’t be the case. I’m not talking about particulars, but as a nation. The Lord causes rain to fall on the righteous along with the wicked. Christians should never forget, we are not of this world, and our reward is in Heaven.

There are so many in this country that already have their reward, but then the judgement. When the wicked rule the people mourn. The wicked are ruling, and the people will certainly mourn. The word says that’s the reward of when the wicked rule, so expect it, and take it to the Lord in prayer.

Removing the whole Israel issue out of the way, just take a look at how much effort is being put into forcing God’s hand of protection and blessing off of this nation from within! At a national level, do you really think that the Lord will stay where he isn’t wanted? He’s always with his body, there’s still many that will turn to him before the big stuff starts happening I’m sure. But his favor isn’t an open ended invitation. You either embrace it or reject it. And this country is clearly going down the road to rejecting him.

Are you Ready?

Let’s say everything hit the fan tomorrow, are you ready? From a spiritual standpoint, are you prepared for just about anything? There are things coming our way not just against this nation but Christianity as a whole. Are you spiritually prepared for these kinds of things? Do you know where you’re going if the Lord tarries and you go by way of the grave?

If you are even just a little fuzzy about your eternal whereabouts, it’s time for you to get certain. If you haven’t given your life over to the Lord, please do so. If you go to Revelation of Salvation, there is a quick and real basic prayer for you to read aloud. I strongly encourage you to get yourself into the fold with those of us who have taken hold of God’s promises with both hands!

If you’ve found that you’ve strayed from the Lord, having been tossed off course for whatever reason, he is faithful to forgive, and is only a prayer away. No matter how far you think different steps have caused for you to stray, Jesus is only one step back. Feed your spirit on the Word of God. There is a washing away of carnality, and a cleansing in the Word of God. Never neglect it!

Often people concentrate to be physically ready for “the big one” whatever the big one is, depending on the location it could be either a comet, big wave, earth quake, solar flare, etc.. It’s a different concern wherever you go. My advice would be to prepare for the end of YOUR world, not necessarily for the end of THE world.

Your world can be turned upside down in a second, it doesn’t have to be the end of the world for that to happen. It happens every year to millions around the world. So prepare for anticipated physical needs however it makes the most sense to your current circumstance.

Angel of Apocalypse VideoIf you don’t think that this is a good idea, I’d suggest you go ahead and turn off your water main and shut off your breaker. Leave them off for as long as you can and see how well you fare until you need to turn it back on. Don’t go shopping for a few weeks, or see just how long you can go before you “need” to go do it. Things happen all the time, and you won’t be much help to anyone if you wind up having to be a burden. It’s just simple common sense, be prepared.
