Visions that have been given by the Lord have been going on since man stepped off of the ark and on to dry land. Although some believe that the Lord has decided to button his lip for the past couple thousand years, there are thousands upon thousands that have been given visions directly by the Lord for just about any occasion.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
This section is for those of you who have received visions from the Lord, and would like to share it with those of the Body of Christ that come to visit this site regularly, and those who may have a particular curiosity, and may be searching for an answer to something that your vision from the Lord may answer. I’ve witnessed that on several occasions.
There are basically 2 different categories of visions that are truly coming from the Lord, and not by demonic means. Before we move forward with instructions about how you can have your vision included here in this section, let’s take a look at the two general different vision types.
Personal Vision from the Lord
The first would be something personal. We serve a Father that is very interested in everything we do, say, think, and feel. Our God is a personal God, that is interested in a personal relationship with his children through his Son Christ Jesus. Knowing that, why would anyone think that he isn’t willing to give us some of his insight that we may not necessarily get anywhere else than from a vision?
Personal visions from the Lord are drastically different than satanic means, because the Father isn’t fortune telling, but instead edifying; building up faith and perhaps clearing up on something that may remain foggy to an individual, particularly concerning himself. Also, visions from the Lord will always line up with his Word. That is a fail-safe way to test a vision from the Lord, whether or not it is coinciding with what he’s already done, said, established, and recorded.
Prophetic Vision from the Lord
A prophetic vision from the Lord is something that has not yet happened, like any prophecy. With these, it is important (if at all possible) to determine whether or not what is seen in the vision is etched in stone, or something that can be changed via repentance, prayer, both, etc.. We see a sure thing with Sodom and Gomorrah when the Lord spoke about what he was going to do. Then, we see the people of Nineveh repent after learning of what had been prophesied, and was spared because of their repentance. So if the Lord is willing to divulge that, it’s a great help when the question is asked; what do I do with this information?
Because prophetic visions from the Lord typically wind up having more to do with a people than an individual, it is far more important that we look at the scriptures to see whether or not it could be legitimately from the Father. As with anything that is claimed, and much more dealing with anything supernatural, the reader or listener must test and see whether the vision is from the Lord, because our enemy the devil is hard at work these days.
There are false visions given by demonic means to deceive and lead astray. When this happens, people who hang on it as if it’s from God, they wind up disheartened and perhaps lose faith in the Lord when the prophetic vision proves to be weak or bogus. Or even worse, it can lead people away from the Father, and farther away from his plan for their lives in Christ. I’m talking about “Christian” prophecies, not those from the likes of Nostradamus, Edgar Casey, any of their modern day counterparts, etc..
I would also include blatant liars whose hearts are filled with mischief against the people of God. They do this very thing as part of a mission to break the faith of Christians by establishing a good standing in a church or Christian online community, and after earning some sort of credibility, one of the things that they’ll do is to prophecy something close to what the Lord might say or do, but is off just enough to be wrong, false, and misleading.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
I mean this is really going on across this nation, and if you don’t believe that, I can point you to satanic communities that advertise for people willing to do this very thing. Now that I think about it, I wrote about this very thing a while ago. I called it Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing. Check it out for more about this topic. But I digress…
There are well intentioned people who’s zeal for the Lord has convinced them that they are getting info from the Most High, but if one were to ask the Lord, he may say that he had nothing to do with it. People of this category have no intention to be deliberately false or misleading, but simply mistaken or caught up with the pressing news of the day, or their conditions around them, what have you.
Concerning these types of people that have prophetic visions that are simply not from the Lord… The last thing that I would ever do is point a finger and start calling them a FALSE PROPHET. They thought they heard or was given something from the Lord and they didn’t. That means that they were wrong. Being called a false prophet is indicative of the type of people that are spoken about above who are the wolves.
To be literal yes, any type of prophetic anything that does not come from the Lord is false. But that being said, if it’s obvious that the person that had missed it loves the Lord and simply wants to please the Father’s heart, the knowledge that he or she missed the Lord would most likely be enough to convict the person’s heart as well as being a bit (or very) humiliated. Use some wisdom, we don’t need to hammer on our Brothers and Sisters in the Lord and think that gathering the mistakes of others makes us better Christians.
A True Vision from God
A true vision from the Father (as stated above) will coincide with his written Word. Well what does that mean? I would think that the best way to look at it is; if it lines up with the nature of God that we can see in his Word, and if it doesn’t run crosswise with any of his Word, and can be supported by at least two or three witnesses (scripturally speaking) found in his Word, then it is most likely a vision from the Lord.
When it comes to Biblical prophecy, Jesus will not change his mind on any of it. What his Word says prophetically is certain without repent. And we just so happen to be in a period of time right now, or are at least at the cusp, of one of the most spoken about periods of time in all of the Bible. And I’d also go so far as saying the most prophetically anticipated.
We Want Your Vision!
Have you received a vision from the Lord? If you have then it’s for a very good reason. Most of the time when it comes to a personal type vision, the reason is made clear. But after speaking with and hearing from many who have received prophetic type visions, there is usually some question as to why THEY have been given this information.
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Well, I would like for you to consider that you are not reading this by accident, and perhaps if you’ve read this far, it just may be that the Lord would like for you to share what he’s shown you? I would like to invite you to share your vision from the Father with the world!
The best way that I can help you to share your vision from God with the world is the following:
1. Type it all up in an email. Be as thorough and lengthy as you’d like. Anything sent that is only a couple of sentences won’t be posted, so make it as detailed as you can. On the other hand, there’s no limit at all as far s lengthiness goes. The longer and more detailed the better.
2. Make sure to include anything that you wish to have added to the page that I will be making for you. Anything such as any social media accounts that you’d want people to follow, any website that you want to have promoted, etc.. If you don’t want anything promoted that’s fine, but the option is there if you want to take the opportunity.
3. Send the email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I’m usually pretty good about responding to emails, so I’ll get back to you to confirm that your message has been received as soon as possible. After I get the email, I’ll grab it and format it for this site, and create your own page, much like I’ve done for others in the Testimony and Preach It sections. It may take a day or two for me to get it all done, but I’ll make sure to email you the link to it so you can either approve or ask for me to change something.
Also, I’ll take care of any pics or visuals to doctor up the page. That said, if there is anything that you would like to be included, please attach it to your email, or send in a different message with a ‘heads up’ for what it pertains to.
I do this because I feel the Lord leading me to do so, and also for several other reasons. To get people’s attention on to things that they may not have been able to otherwise. In other words to be a megaphone to those who don’t have one.
This site gets some pretty decent traffic and many eyes are scrolling around here all the time. So I think one part of this site is to be a tool for those who need one to spread word about something that the Lord is doing concerning both personal visions and also prophetic type visions. Also because I enjoy it, to be a blessing, to have a more interactive site, and learn something along the way.
There’s no charge of any kind for any of this, I do ask for donations to this site, but that’s generally, not personally. In other words, you’ll never get an email from me asking anything from you. Unless it pertains to information about your story, stuff like that. I hate being solicited, so I’ll not do the same to you.
I look forward to hearing from you with your vision given to you by the Lord!! Thank you for reading and for your consideration, because you never know who you are going to bless by what the Lord has shown you! If you feel compelled to do so, please share this page via the share button below or by the big plus sign to the right side of your screen. Thanks again for sharing your vision!
