Testimony of my coming to Christ by Gary H Kleiner

Sometimes the Lord allows us to go through a few things in order for our eyes to be opened to who he really is, what he really desires for our lives, and where we fit, according to his plan.

The following is a testimony from Gary H. Kleiner, of his salvation, troubles, and redemption, through the lead of the Holy Ghost.

Holy Ghost at Work

This is my story how and why I came to Christ, and how the Holy Spirit came to me. My early life is as follows:

I was brought up Jewish and never had a real sense of God. I had learning problems as a teenager, then developed anxiety and depression, as well as obsessive compulsive disorder.

I eventually sought treatment, and have been on a lot of medications. These conditions followed me for over ten years.

I came to Christ when I was 30, but I wasn’t yet filled with the Holy Spirit. I wasn’t filled because my life was the same, and I didn’t take the conversion seriously.

My life became more stressful, my psychiatric medications weren’t working, so I looked for a way out. I attempted suicide and survived. I had a strong desire to draw after my suicide attempt.

I realized that the Holy Spirit gave me an intense desire to draw, and to understand the process of creating art and to use it to heal myself and others. Over time, I started having prophetic dreams of God telling me to be light for others who are darkened by this world.

God told me that heaven is real, how He will take care of me like the birds of the air, and how I should rejoice and share my story to as many people as I can.

Artwork by Gary H. Kleiner This Testimony is true, my life changed a lot as soon as I set up a prayer altar and started praying intensely. Today I am able to coach others creatively while sharing my testimony with others.

I also experience prophetic dreams and visions which make my faith stronger. I experience electrical sensations in my hands, as well as a slight breeze around my body. This is the Holy Spirit in me. I am excited that the Lord came to me to save me!

Blessings

From Brian

Praise God for his saving grace, and for his perfect timing. Within this testimony, we can get a good picture of what can happen when people don’t take their salvation seriously.

Haphazard salvation, or fair weather Christianity, can lead to a life of struggle and pain. This isn’t God’s fault, but a combination of our fault, alongside the nature of the world we live in.

When the prince of this world (Satan) and any of his minions notice even one person starting to slip from their oppressive grasp, one of two things can happen.

  1. They make anything they have to offer to become as appealing as possible- preventing any further advances toward the Father.
  2. They’ll try to wipe you out if possible, using whatever means.

In Gary’s testimony, it is clear they used option 2, making him miserable enough to attempt to end it all. Fortunately, the Father had other plans! Reading about how the fruit of their failure has caused for Gary to minister to others is truly profound.

I’d like to thank Gary for submitting his testimony! These testimonies help believers to overcome our spiritual enemies, as well as providing relatable information, leading others in similar situations to come to Christ.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

  1. Thank you folks for responding to this article.

I have become a prayer warrior as of late, and folks are coming to me to learn how to pray to the lord.

The Holy Spirit has guided me along my path, my purpose is to help others to fight off the devil, recognize dark thoughts and to pray with all their hearts to Jesus. I think people need to be more aware of their thinking process and to ask themselves is this thought a godly thought or one of the devil.

God bless you Brian and your ministry, may those who visit this site to gain knowledge and wisdom, thank you Warren, Janet and George , May you all be richly blessed by our savior.

    • Hi there Gary,
I agree, not all of the thoughts that go through our head are necessarily our thoughts. It takes discernment practice to determine whether we’re originating a thought ourselves, or if an unseen influence is injecting ideas into our minds.

All the more reason to put on the mind of Christ, the Helmet of Salvation, and stay prayed up- constantly seeking the lead of the Holy Ghost.
God bless you Brother, and thank you for your contribution. Praise God for the work he’s doing in you and through you!

  2. Very inspirational, Gary. Yes, Brian is right, the thieving minions will resort to plan b i.e. trying to kill you. This is no joke, this is serious. In my 22 years in the Marine Corps, I had many near death experiences. Now, in my retirement, the minions tried to kill members of my family. Fortunately, by the miraculous protection of our Lord, none of these close calls suceeded…we are all unscathed, but much wiser. A deeper love for the Lord is the result of these incidents. Thanks Brian, stay strong Brother.
