Proverbs 8: King James Bible
The Way of Righteousness – Daily Devotion of Proverbs chapter eight, Verses 19-21
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

So far, we’ve covered quite a bit about the road that the Lord has prepared before us. We’ve also covered the ways and roads that he’s warned us to stay off of. The way of righteousness is something that we’ve brushed on a little in a previous devotional, but there’s something about this way of righteousness that I’d like to concentrate on this go round.
I wrote at length about the Breastplate of Righteousness, which you can find, along with the rest of the Whole Armor of God, under the Bible Study of STIC tab. Or, if you’d like to check it out, Click Here. In that section, we take a good look into righteousness, and more importantly, who’s righteousness is the breastplate’s main ingredient.
I’d like to point out here, that in the eyes of the Father, our righteousness is as filthy rags. Outside of Christ Jesus, there is no such thing as righteousness as far as the Lord is concerned. Unless of course we’re talking “self-righteousness.”
We are made to be righteousness in Christ Jesus. That said, since Christ Jesus, the only method that exists, to be found in right standing with God Almighty, is for the Father to see his only begotten Son within you.
You could do your very best, as often as possible to do all kinds of great and wonderful deeds all of your life. But without having the Lord Jesus , you’ve accomplished nothing in the Father’s eyes.
There’s only one way to the Father, and that’s in the Lord Jesus Christ. The only means to even get on the way of righteousness, begins with Jesus, and ends with Jesus.
He is the WAY, the truth, and the life. If you don’t have him, you need to. Head to the Revelation of Salvation page to learn about how you can receive the Lord Jesus into your heart, and into your life.

Romans 3: King James Bible
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5: King James Bible
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Thank you for blazing the way ahead of us, and leading us down the way of righteousness, and guarding our way as we go. Should we ever stumble or fall in the way, please help us to get back to where you will for us to be, and cause for us to serve you better. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
