Proverbs 8: King James Bible
The Words of my Mouth – Daily Devotion of Proverbs chapter eight, Verses 8-9
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. 9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
Daily Inspiration from These Verses – The Words of my Mouth
This is the Holy Ghost speaking to the kind of things that come out of his mouth. But also, he tells us who will be able to make sense out of what he talks about.
The way these scriptures read, it’s safe to come to an interesting conclusion. If you don’t have understanding (that which comes from the Father), nor knowledge (that which comes from the Father), then you’ll not be able to understand what he’s trying to say.
Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it’s not all that easy, because if someone thinks they understand something that the Father’s either said or preserved in his Word, doesn’t mean that they really do have the spiritual insight into what he’s trying to convey.
In other words, scripture from a fleshly understanding is far different from a spiritual (or God given) understanding. The best example I can give to better explain this, is what it means to be saved.
To we who are saved, reading about redemption through Christ Jesus has a whole different scope than it would to, say, an Atheist. An Atheist wouldn’t have the hands on experience to draw from, when it comes to salvation. The same idea applies when we deal with God’s Word, between a fleshly understanding and a spiritual understanding.
There is nothing more profound than the Word of God. His Words always find a way to help in our time of need, and is mingled together in a way that is best understood through a direct connection to the Father through Christ Jesus, by the Holy Ghost.
The words that come out of his mouth mean business, and are as sure as anything could be. Below, I’ve included a handful of scripture, that will elaborate on the usage of words, by the Father, and us as well.

Prayer
Father,
Knowing that you’ll hold us accountable for every word and thought, please give us aid in this area of our lives, as the times we live in, throw words around so frivolously. Grant us a purity of heart Lord, so that out of it’s abundance, we can speak more along the lines of how you would speak, and less like this fallen world. This we pray, that we would better serve you. In the name of the Lord Jesus we pray.
Amen
Question
Have you ever asked yourself,”Do the words of my mouth reflect my relationship with the Father, or the world?”
