Daily Inspiration from Proverbs 14 P.168 – Ways of Death

Proverbs 14: King James Bible

Ways of Death – Daily Devotion of Proverbs chapter fourteen, Verse 12

12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Daily Inspiration from These Verses – Ways of Death

The way of death is the way that is incorporated into all of us from birth. We are, by virtue of being the children of fallen Adam, fallen by nature.

Should there be any question about that, I know of an example that is irrefutable. Have you ever had to teach a child to sin? Of course not. But as soon as a child is able to think and choose his or her own behavior, it’s there. Any parent worth their salt does what they can to teach their children not to do different things that come naturally.

The only method given to us, to get off of the way that leads to death, is to believe in,  and find the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The Son of the Most High God, Christ Jesus.

It is Christ that plucks us from that disastrous road, and sets our feet in the way that the Lord has established for us. At the end of the way that the Lord has established for us, is the Lord Jesus. At the beginning of the way, is Jesus. All the way through, as we traverse through all that the Lord has established, is Christ Jesus. Every step of the way.

But the way of death is void of the Father, leaving one spiritually dead, and only keeping the company of their traveling companions. The way of death is vast and broad, built to accommodate a large traffic flow, as the world leads everyone who takes no heed of the Lord or his will, speeding along with an unpleasant destination ahead.

Are you certain that you’ve got the Lord Jesus Christ with you, traversing on the road that leads to life, and life more abundantly? Or are you not sure about what your spiritual whereabouts will be after you die?

Should you even have a question in your mind, whether or not you’ve been saved, born again, and washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, please head to the Salvation page. It’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made.

Romans 14: King James Bible

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

Thank you for all that you’ve done, and all that you are. Thank you for your Word and all that you’ve placed inside it. Please move hearts of anyone who needs you, to come to you, and call upon you for their salvation, and that they receive the free gift, that cost you your only begotten Son, Jesus. And it is in his name, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

Wouldn’t you rather be traversing on the way of life, instead of the ways of death?

  1. Thanks again Brian…yes, it was the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ which brings people to the Father. No one seeketh after God, but the calling of the Lord. He is the one who is operating the salvage ship, while sinners are treading water in a sin filled ocean. He will throw out the life line, if one will respond to His plea. And our appreciation of His love grows more each year, as we look back and marvel at what He has done in our lives. Thanks Brother, in the Lord. Amen.
